Woodward’s Preiss Retires

Chad R. Preiss has retired as president of Woodward’s Industrial Control Systems business group.

Woodward, based in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA, is a designer, manufacturer and service provider of energy control and optimization systems.

A Woodward employee since 1988, Preiss has held the positions of Engine Systems president and vice president as well as director of business development focusing on Woodward’s merger and acquisition activities, strategic planning and sales channels. During his tenure at Woodward, he has held a variety of roles in engineering, marketing and sales management. Preiss earned a master’s degree in business administration from Rockford College and a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University.
