A First For GE Marine Turbine Family

GE Marine said its GE LM2500+G4 aeroderivative marine gas turbine to power a U.S. Navy ship for the first time.

The company said it will provide Fincantieri Marinette Marine with the turbine for the U.S. Navy’s Constellation class (FFG 62) frigate. GE also will provide the gas turbine auxiliary skids…
